Beyond the Gender Light Switch
Not all trans* individuals identify as either male or female. Not all transgender people transition. While some have taken the time to understand these variations, most people have not and this often impedes human relations. People are not just male or female. People are often a combination of these or even genderless. Some are intersex individuals. Some are not. This workshop explores these differences that are, for many people, a daily reality.

LETS TALK ABOUT SEX! Trans Men Sexual Health Workshop
Sexual exploration is common with any transition. Traditional HIV education is aimed at men who have sex with men. Virtually no HIV prevention education has specifically targeted the transgender FTM community.
Safer sex practices specific to Trans Men will be reviewed and open discussion allowed.. This workshop fills some of the void that exists by focusing on Trans Men and sexual health.

HISTORY: Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR), which occurs annually on 20 November, is a day to memorialize those who have been killed as a result of transphobia and acts to bring attention to the continued violence endured by the transgender community.
The Transgender Day of Remembrance was founded in 1998 by Gwendolyn Ann Smith, a trans woman who is a graphic designer, columnist, and activist, to memorialize the murder of Rita Hester in Allston, Massachusetts.
Since its inception, TDoR has been held annually on November 20th and has slowly evolved from the web-based project started by Smith into an international day of action. In 2010, TDoR was observed in over 185 cities throughout more than 20 countries.
