I stayed several times when I was thinking of moving here. The staff is amazing. The rooms are impeccable. They are small but wonderfully kept & full of older history. The breakfast was the best. And the wine, fun too! Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent room. Excellent experience! I recently had occasion to be on business in Laguna Beach, CA. I frequently choose smaller properties when I travel preferring the higher level of service and the unique nature of independently owned and operated hotels. My expectations were consistently and thoroughly exceeded at Casa Laguna from the moment I made my reservation until the after I reluctantly checked out. The staff could not have been more welcoming or attentive. Special thanks go to Justin and Denise, but everyone I encountered was professional and primarily focused on service to guests. Even though I was there for business I immediately thought of coming back to this great location with my lover for a great, romantic retreat. Spa services, the grounds, the easy, relaxed pace of everything from wine and cheese in the evening to perusing the DVD collection begs to be shared with that someone special. Breakfast was excellent and offered the opportunity to experience sweet, savory and healthy items. I was very impressed with the selection and I enjoyed getting “fueled up” for the challenges I faced during my business days. My room was wonderful with all the amenities I needed including high speed, wireless internet access, some treats to keep my energy up while working and an incredibly comfortable and luxurious bed. I slept like a rock.
